Mission/Vision
|
The mission of CEC Combustion Safety is to ensure safety of personnel within their work environment, while increasing efficiency and reliability of fuel-fired equipment. We believe that our work each day helps saves lives and prevents explosions at facilities around the world. To fulfill our mission, we have created a combustion equipment “Risk Reduction Process” that is derived from our experience in the development of programs for some of the world's most successful, safe, and efficient corporations. We refer to it as improving your PPE: People, Policies and Equipment. This approach is all-encompassing and crosses many parts of our clients’ operations, which is why our typical client relationships involves a long-term, multi-year combustion equipment safety culture change.
Applying this process involves training of PEOPLE who maintain, operate, or supervise those working with combustion equipment or fuel systems. We do this through in-person hands-on training, online course offerings and a combustion safety assessment program. POLICIES are next constructed or changed that relate to purchasing and installation standards for combustion and fuel systems equipment. We are called upon regularly to direct and consult on corporate combustion equipment safety programs, write standards, and prepare capital budget plans for upgrading equipment. Finally EQUIPMENT is screened for its compliance with current safety codes. Deficiencies are identified, safety interlock trip testing is performed, and equipment is upgraded and standardized. Our online reporting tool helps our clients monitor and track the progress of any outstanding equipment issues that we’ve identified. Through the successful implementation of the PPE Program, we have delivered proven value, including:
In today's competitive economy, all facilities are under increasing pressure to do more with less. The PPE program can help you optimizing combustion system operations with low-cost and no-cost techniques that can save your facility thousands of dollars annually, and prevent the kinds of incidents that cost lives. |
