CEC Consultants was founded in December of 1984. John R. Puskar, PE, had been a very successful Senior Energy Systems Engineer for Standard Oil of Ohio's (now BP Oil) Corporate Energy Systems Group in Cleveland, Ohio.

John had been involved in a number of energy/utilities related projects (steam/fuel gas/cooling water/water treatment) at Standard Oil's Refineries and Chemical Plants throughout the US. He sought to build an organization that could focus on providing cost reduction and facilities design services primarily related to utilities and environmental systems (ventilation) in industrial and large commercial facilities. CEC Consultants was born out of this desire in the upstairs of John's 2 bedroom, bungalow in Parma Hts., Ohio.

CEC has gained a reputation for providing value and service. You will never see our engineers afraid to get dirty. You will be pleased to find prompt service; a high level of communication; and designs that are innovative, complete, and practical.
